All Lassoed Moon items are thoughtfully finished and go through a thorough quality control process before being listed for sale. Due to their handmade nature, some small inconsistencies may occur. We believe this is part of the beauty in purchasing handmade, and ensure that any variations that may be present do not affect the quality, durability, or appearance of the final piece.
Sale items, special orders, made-to-order, and custom jewelry are final sale.
Lassoed Moon jewelry is made from lightweight acrylic, polymer clay, resin, high-quality metals, raw brass, pearls, and/or glass beads. While polymer clay is strong and slightly flexible, you should avoid dropping or bending your jewelry. Other components like glass beads and pearls are more fragile and may break if dropped.
Polymer clay and acrylic can be scratched by other hard materials, so we advise storing it away from sharp or metal jewelry.
We don't recommend swimming or showering in your jewelry to prolong its life.
Raw brass may tarnish, especially when exposed to humidity or sweat. Tarnished brass can be cleaned with natural materials like vinegar or salt mixed with lemon juice and polished with a soft jewelry cloth.
If you happen to get any stains or makeup on your polymer clay pieces you can clean them gently with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.
Not at all! Many people say that wearing earrings made from these materials feels like wearing nothing at all. Most earrings weigh around 0.2 ounces, but if you're ever curious about the weight of a specific style, please reach out to us!
When cured properly, polymer clay is strong, slightly flexible, and should not break from normal use. Of course, you should still be careful with your pieces and avoid dropping or bending them so they last as long as possible.

Clip-on converters are available as an add-on item that can be purchased with any order and make it possible to wear your Lassoed Moon earrings without changing the style and keep the post intact. We also have gold and silver ball stud style clip-ons available at all times which can be used as a replacement for the top of most earring styles. If you are interested in replacing the top of an earring please reach out to us! We would be happy to assist and find whatever option works best for you.
All of our earring posts are either gold-filled, pure titanium, stainless steel, or gold-plated. The metal used will be clearly listed in each description, but we are always happy to help if you have any questions. We recommend titanium or gold-filled posts if you have very sensitive ears, but if you have an allergy or concern, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!
